Translogistic is for business in compliance with European standards.

Translogistic joint venture, celebrating in November its fourth anniversary, is distinguished by its dynamical development and clear vision of prospects. Its achievements came up with the building of efficient and rallied team of professionals.

The success of the enterprise to no small degree depends on independently developed business philosophy, according to which Translogistic transforms the clients' requirements into qualitative transport and logistics projects, finding the optimum solutions together with the clients and implementing them in clients' interests.

"However from the very foundation of the company we have not been concentrating only on our activity but also striving to attract attention of both, the freight forwarding world to the Republic of Moldova, and inside the country of all interested persons to our business. These goals are achieved by different conferences and congresses of the freight forwarding agents to which the company attracts an increased attention and participates actively" - the director of the company Veaceslav Damaschin says.

In spring of 2002 the conference "East-West" took place in Chisinau, Moldova participating forwarding companies from CIS and Baltic countries, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia. Translogistic was the organizer and inviting party.

At the conference, the most actual and sorrowful problems were discussed: improvement of organization of railway transportation and increase of its competitiveness, opportnities of getting of new clients. A protocol was adopted with freight forwarders proposals to railwaz administrations.

The successful organization of a conference has in many respects predetermined the decision of the of National Forwarding Associations of the Balkan countries on setting out in Chisinau under the aegis of Moldovan Association of Freight Forwarders of the VI-th Congress of the Balkan forwarding agents.

The forum has taken place in Chisinau at the end of October this year with participation of 150 representatives from 13 countries with the motto "Balkans and beyond". Within the framework of the Congress the ways of rapprochement of technology of transport organization of the Balkan countries with the countries of CIS and Western Europe were discussed, the prospects of development of the IX-th transport corridor on the territory of the Republic of Moldova were also considered. The serious attention was given to improvement of interaction of customs bodies of the countries of the Balkan region and legislative base for realization of transport and forwarding activity.

Specialization of the company and its basic turnover of transportation is connected with freight forwarding via Moldova, basic flow moving to Romania, Ukraine and Russia. But not only. Large cargo flow is organized through the Port of Reni to Slovakia and Romania.

Aspiring to expand its activity, this year the company has established a subsidiary company in Minsk, Byelorussia. Besides, we actively develop some more directions of business, but it is not time yet to speak about, - the chief of Translogistic supposes.

Legislation is the weakest point in the Moldovan freight forwarding industry. Forwarding activity is not even listed in the classifying of types of activity unlikely to Russia and Belarus. First of all, in opinion of all forwarding agents, it is necessary to issue the law on transport and forwarding activity in the Republic of Moldova.

Tax administration is rather confused. As a result, Ministry of Finance, fiscality and other controlling authorities expound in various ways the Tax Code. This lead to dificulties in administration of taxes, e.g. VAT.
